| Profile | Anyone who has known Phil for any length of time, will realise that he has changed a lot since joining the Old Whits. At Old Seds he never missed training and was always the first to turn up at the ground, bringing with him a load of kickaround balls, lots of water and a contagious positive energy. Nowadays he spends Wednesdays reading poetry, turns up 20 minutes into the game, forgets half his kit while complaining that he's only had 30 minutes sleep since Thursday. ... and whereas before he would enjoy a beer and a chicken and chips with the boys, he is now to be found extolling the oakiness of a Zinfandel Rose while sampling a compote of poulet chaud laid on a bed of sauted potatoes. |
