Guidelines for voting
1) The list below is meant as a general guideline and is subject to alteration by the team manager. The team manager's decision is final.2) The Player of the month award is decided by player vote taken after each game and added together to give a total for the period.
3) The month is defined as a calendar month and will be awarded even if only one match is played.
4) The first award will be given at the end of September and then every month until the end of the season.
5) All points will also accumulate towards the Players' Player of the Year Award.
6) Players will give their first and second choice votes. First choice = 2 points, Second choice = 1 point.
7) The referee's choice (or in his absence, the opposition captain) = 3 points.
8) In the absence of either of the above, there will be no 3 point award.
9) All players, substitutes and the team manager will be asked for a vote. Any player refusing to vote will have any cast in his favour for that fixture assigned a "0" value.
10) At the team manager's discretion, Old Whitgiftian spectators are eligible to vote. Their votes will have the same value as player votes.
